Meet the Candidates | Mayoral debate

Except for the mayoral debate, which will be a facilitated debate dedicated to mayoral candidates, our Meet the Candidate events will involve inviting all candidates running for Mayor, districtwide Councillor, Māori Ward Councillor, and Ward Councillor and Community Board Member positions for that ward to attend.

They will each be provided a dedicated space for them to present their candidacy and have conversations with the community who can attend at any time during the two-hour slots.

Meet the Candidates events help voters:
🔹 meet and hear from candidates
🔹 learn where they stand on issues affecting our District
🔹 make informed decisions when voting in the local elections 2025.
